Based in Denver, Colorado, Robert “Bo” Parfet earned an MA from the University of Michigan and an MBA from Northwestern University. While working on his BA at Colorado State University, Robert “Bo” Parfet was a member of the Omicron Delta Epsilon (ODE) honor society.

For economics majors, ODE has many benefits. One of the world’s largest honor societies, ODE recognizes the outstanding achievements of its members while giving them the chance to build relationships with students and faculty members.

The organization helps members build social relationships with ODE members at the university and around the world. Members also have access to regional, national, and international conventions.

Additionally, ODE can be a platform for gaining recognition and winning awards. Prominent undergraduate and graduate students have the chance to be published in The American Economist, an ODE publication. Members also become eligible to compete for the Frank Taussig Award and the Irving Fisher Award, which culminate in the publication of an essay and a cash prize. Members are also eligible to compete for the Outstanding Student Leader Award.
